Alcohol & Drugs History Society. Daily updated website with news, publications, or resources of relevant interest. Aimed at an academic audience, but much to interest the layman as well. Book Depository. They have millions of new books at very good discounts and free delivery to UK and many overseas destinations. Unfortunately they are in the process of selling their soul to the Devil [aka Amazon]. Hopefully the Office of Fair Trade will veto the deal, but in the meantime make the most of a viable alternative to the Devil.

National Brewing Library. The collection is housed at the Oxford Brookes University and consists of about 4,500 volumes relating to brewing, distilling, beer, whisky and other alcoholic beverages and dependant trades.

whisky literature on the web, and also probably the most extensive listing of
whisky links.
